Kamelia Najafi Sensei 

Kamelia has been practising karate for years and has become very successful in this sport. Kamelia and Ali have been married for over 20 years and have practising karate together for most of their marriage. Having an extreme passion for karate Kamelia has accomplished a 4th-degree black belt, is a provincial judge for Karate BC and is Karate BC coach of the year. 

 

With karate being a huge part of Kemalia's life she also works as a Registered Occupational Therapist. Working with Fraser Health and with the community has allowed Kamelia to give back and help people learn to recover, develop, and improve on skills that are needed for everyday life. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4th  Degree Black Belt from Japan Shotokan Karate Association (JSKA)

• NCCP Certified head karate instructor from Karate Canada

• Karate BC Provincial Judge

• Karate BC Coach of the Year Award - 2013

• Registered Occupational Therapist

• Criminal records including vulnerable sectors are checked every 3 years
